Mary McDonnell
Mary Eileen McDonnell, born April 28, 1952, is an American actress who has appeared on the stage, on television and in film. She was nominated for the Academy Award for her roles in Dances with Wolves as Stands With A Finger and Passion Fish as May-Alice Culhane. McDonnell is best known for her appearances in Battlestar Galactica as President Laura Roslin and First Lady Marilyn Whitmore, and Rose in Donnie Darko. McDonnell played Captain Sharon Raydor on seasons 5-7 of TNT's show The Closer. She also starred in Major Crimes, the spin-off series that airs on the same network as Commander Sharon Raydor.
