Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel, born on December 2nd 1968 is an American actress. She is best known for her performances on the daytime network, as well as episodic guest appearances and made for television movies. Sofer was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful between 2013 and 2022.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) in California. She is the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who works as a psychologist, as well as Martin Sofer, who is a Orthodox Rabbi.





 She moved with her father as well as her brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when she was a kid. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father ran the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high school located in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was born in North Bergen where her father was the rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. She attended North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College.





 Career



 Television during the daytime



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer was a part of on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as an administrator of a band. She first appeared in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap show Loving.
